Week 8 - Working in a Game Engine with Final Prop

This week was quite a lot work. I had to a lot of catching up to do but I think the extra work paid off. First of all I brought the rocks and the bird back! Starting with the rocks, I made a high poly version in Zbrush, created new UVs, and added detail in Substance Painter.

For the bird I just used a low poly version of it from Maya, created its UVs and finished it up in Substance Painter.
Now for the Tree Cannon. I decided to go back and fix the low poly version and the UVs, which I'm glad I did because it helped me when I was working on the rocks.
After the model and UVs were ready to go I brought it into Substance Painter.  the Tree Cannon had the most time and attention put into it, and it really paid off.
Now with everything ready to go and already many hours invested into the project it was finally time to bring it all together in UE4. Thankfully making the materials was easy as I could use the same settings for all the pieces. Also, to make the Tree Cannon stand out even more I added lights, fire particles, and exponential environment fog.
